We thank the pupils and teachers Maria kougioufa kai Michalis Douvlos of the 1st<\/sup> Primary School at Siatista for their participation in our educational program and for creating an exceptional and most touching video that summarizes their experience of the program and motivate us to become better.<\/p>\n

We quote from the school\u2019s website: \u201cThe E1 and E2 classes and teachers Maria Kougioufa and Michalis Douvlos, of our school participated at the pilot of the educational program \u201cThe Colors of Siatista\u201d implemented by the Ephorate of Antiquites at Kozani on Thursday 8 December 2022.<\/p>\n

\n

Thus, we visited the Argyriadis (Maliogass) Mansion at Siatista.<\/p>\n

\n

At the Mansion\u2019s yard we hear a few words on the history of Siatista, on the art of the era and the architecture of its mansions.<\/p>\n

\n

We observe the rich decoration, the paintings, the woodcarvings, the vitraux.<\/p>\n

\n

We meet the portraits of King Otto, Tsar Nikolai I, Regas Velestinlis and the impressive wall painting depicting Frankfurt, other paintings of soldiers, landscapes with animals and birds, hunting scenes and various objects. Walls full of history\u2026.<\/p>\n

\n

We travel back in time\u2026.we focus on the motifs, the colors, the technique.<\/p>\n

They are all alive and authentically in front of us.<\/p>\n

\n

At the same time, at the same place we participate at the art workshop and we create paintings inspired by the colorful decoration of the Maliogass- Argyriadis Mansion. <\/em><\/p>\n

\n

On hearing the title of the program, we felt the warm from the \u2026..\u201dColors of Siatista\u201d. From the first document we received from the Ephorate, we \u201csmelled\u201d the perfect arranging.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

We thank the museologist Mrs. Foteini Vakratsa and the art historian Mr. Ioannis Gatas for the way the communicated with pupils. They kept their interest undiminished and they managed to make the the Maliogass-Argyriadis Mansion understood. Honestly.<\/em><\/p>\n

We also thank warmly the archaologist Mr. theocharis Tsampouras who is in charge of the project \u201cThe Colors of Siatista\u201d for organizing and for promoting the cultural wealth of the mansions of Siatista. <\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Digitizing children\u2019s art works is another \u201cAdvantage\u201d of the current program. Congratulations to the Ephorate of Antiquities of Kozani. This is the first time that such an educational program regarding the Mansions at Siatista, the most vistable monuments at the Prefecture of Kozani is taking place. <\/em><\/p>\n

From what we here around 1.000 pupils have participated at the program so far. We recommend it, without second thought. A chance for educational programs at the visitable and restored mansion of POULKO and MALIOGASS-ARGYRIADIS that now belong to the Ministry of Culture.\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cColors of Siatista\u201d filled us with colors of excitement. For this reason, we created a short video with our own touch\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
